2. Eligibility

3. How the Hunt Works
The 1K Hunt hosts timed scavenger hunt competitions where participants solve clues and visit locations in the real world.
Participants typically must:

- Visit locations and verify progress
- Complete the hunt
The participant who completes the hunt in the fastest valid time may be eligible to win the advertised prize.
4. Entry Fees

- Do not guarantee a prize
Prizes

To ensure the viability of each hunt, a minimum of ten (10) participants must enter a hunt for the prize to be awarded. If fewer than ten (10) participants enter a specific hunt, The 1K Hunt reserves the right to:
- cancel the hunt,
- reschedule the hunt, or
- roll entries forward to the next scheduled hunt.
Prizes are provided by one or more sponsors or promotional partners of The 1K Hunt. The specific prize and sponsor may vary from hunt to hunt.
Additional prize terms:
- The prize will be awarded to the participant who completes the hunt in the fastest verified time.
- Winners may be required to verify their identity before receiving the prize.
- Prizes are non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash unless otherwise specified.
- If a listed prize becomes unavailable, The 1K Hunt reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
The 1K Hunt is responsible for coordinating prize fulfillment with the sponsor but is not responsible for sponsor-related delays.

Participants must compete fairly.
The following are prohibited:
- Cheating
- Sharing clues with others who have not entered
- Using automated tools or bots
- Tampering with QR codes or verification systems
Participants violating these rules may be disqualified without refund.
7. Safety Disclaimer
Participants understand that hunts take place in public environments.
By participating you agree that:
- You are responsible for your own safety.
- You will follow traffic laws and public safety rules.
- You will not trespass on private property.
The 1K Hunt is not responsible for accidents, injuries, or damages that occur during participation.

Participants must respect:

Clues will never require illegal activity or unsafe behavior.
9. Account Responsibility
Users are responsible for:
- maintaining account security
- keeping login credentials confidential
- ensuring account information is accurate
The 1K Hunt is not responsible for unauthorized account access.
10. Website Availability
We aim to keep the website running smoothly but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.
The 1K Hunt may modify, pause, or discontinue features or hunts at any time.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The 1K Hunt and its owners are not liable for:

- lost time
- lost profits
- technical errors
Participation in hunts is at your own risk.
